On the road to building trust, civility and action, please join us for a community engagement and interfaith conversation on “Facing Racism in a Diverse Society: Examining Our Unconscious Bias and its Impact on Equity and Inclusion”.

This event is free and open to the public.   • Mr. Jim Stowe, Director of the Montgomery County’s Office of Human Rights.
  • Rabbi Batya Steinlauf, Director of Outreach and Social Justice at the, JCRC; and co-chair of the Montgomery County’s Faith Community Working Group. 
  • Rev. Dr. Carol Flett, Inter-religious Officer, Episcopal Diocese of Washington; and Co-Chair of the Montgomery County’s Faith Community Working Group.
  • Imam Yahya Hendi, The Muslim Chaplain at Georgetown University; Imam of the Islamic Society of Fredrick; and is the Muslim Chaplain at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
