Interracial Interfaith DialogueThe Faith Community Working Group invites you to join our second Interracial/Interfaith Dialogue, “Seeing the Divine in Each Other.”

Participants will engage in anti-racism exercises in diverse with a trained facilitator.  This is the first in a series of dialogues on racism.   Each dialogue will begin with reflections on our sacred texts, our common humanity, and learn to see the divine in each other as children of God.

The goal of this Nov. 3rd dialogue is to raise awareness of Racism, Islamophobia, Anti-semitism & Xenophobia in our communities, schools, county agencies, and within ourselves.  The next dialogue on Jan. 3, 2017 at the Civic Center, Silver Spring will focus on strategies for successful change toward mutual respect and racial equality in our county.

MCPD officers and MCFRS chiefs along with those who attended the dialogue on September 28th are also welcome to participate.

Everyone MUST register to participate! Deadline to register is October 31.

Who: Open to the public. Youth groups are welcome to participate.
When: November 3, from 6:15 pm to 9:00 pm
