To seek the answers, professor and Islamic scholar Akbar Ahmed and his team of young American researchers set out across the nation, visiting 75 cities and 100 mosques over one year.

Interfaith Works serves over 17,000 people each year by empowering individuals and families with the tools and skills to lift themselves from poverty and homelessness.
